Guns N’ Roses deliver Saudi’s biggest rock show

“Bringing a band of Guns N’ Roses’ stature for a standalone rock concert of this scale is a landmark moment,” says promoter MDLBEAST

Guns N’ Roses have delivered the biggest standalone rock concert Saudi Arabia has ever seen, according to promoter MDLBEAST.

The sold-out show, which was GNR’s first-ever appearance in the Kingdom, attracted 15,000 fans to Riyadh’s Mohammed Abdo Arena last Friday (23 May).

MDLBEAST told IQ that the landmark show “reflects the scale of what’s possible” in Saudi Arabia and reinforces the Kingdom as an increasingly attractive stop on global tours.

“Bringing a band of Guns N’ Roses’ stature for a standalone rock concert of this scale is a landmark moment—and a reflection of the infrastructure and expertise we’ve developed over the years,” says Rayan Alrasheed, senior operations, artist booking & stakeholder manager at MDLBEAST.

“Rock has always had a passionate, deeply rooted following in Saudi Arabia, and this moment is about celebrating and amplifying that through our live music experiences. At MDLBEAST, our commitment is to bring world-class talent to the region, and hosting a band like Guns N’ Roses signals that Saudi is now firmly on the global touring map.

“We’re shaping a diverse and dynamic entertainment landscape that responds to the growing demand from local audiences. Last weekend’s show embodied the broader cultural movement that’s redefining what’s possible in Saudi Arabia.”

Guns N' Roses Will Be First Rock Band To Play L.A.'s New SoFi Stadium

MDLBEAST has previously brought major rock acts such as Metallica, Linkin Park, and Thirty Seconds to Mars to their flagship Soundstorm festival, which draws crowds of around 500,000 each year since its debut in 2019.

Riyadh was the seventh stop on GNR’s Live Nation-produced 2025 world tour, Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things. The 24-date tour will also see the rock icons play their first-ever shows in Georgia, Lithuania and Luxembourg.
