Heavy metal legends Judas Priest are currently basking in the success of their latest studio album, *Invincible Shield*, which has been met with widespread critical acclaim and fan excitement. The band is vigorously supporting the album with an extensive tour, including a highly anticipated **North American co-headlining run with shock rock icon Alice Cooper, with Corrosion of Conformity providing support**.
This powerhouse North American tour is set to kick off on **September 16, 2025**, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and will traverse major cities across the U.S. and Canada before concluding on October 26 in Houston, Texas. The pairing of Judas Priest, celebrating their new material and storied career, with the theatrical spectacle of Alice Cooper, promises an unforgettable night for metal and rock fans alike. Corrosion of Conformity’s inclusion ensures a triple bill of enduring heavy music.
Meanwhile, in related news that has stirred considerable interest among the Priest faithful, former guitarist **K.K. Downing** has recently released a new recording of **”Never Satisfied.”** This track, originally from Judas Priest’s 1974 debut, *Rocka Rolla*, holds significant historical value for the band. Downing’s new version features another former Priest vocalist, **Tim “Ripper” Owens**, who fronted the band in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Downing explained that the re-recording was partly inspired by the 50th-anniversary remix of *Rocka Rolla*. He approached the project with a sense of enjoyment, wanting to revisit a song he co-wrote over five decades ago. Owens’s powerful vocals add a fresh, contemporary edge while respecting the original’s gritty charm. This release serves as a nostalgic nod to Judas Priest’s formative years and highlights the continued musical collaboration between Downing and Owens, who now lead their own band, KK’s Priest.
