Stoke City co-commentator lands key job at relegated Championship club

David Fox, fresh from an impressive stint as Stoke City co-commentator on Radio Stoke, has been named as new head of football operations for Plymouth Argyle.
The 41-year-old former midfielder had only recently joined Leicester City as loans manager, where he had replaced Robert Huth but he has been enticed down to the south coast for a big job at a club where he made nearly 100 appearances as a player.
The Stoke-supporting son of ex-goalkeeper Peter Fox replaces Neil Dewsnip, who left his role in January following Wayne Rooney’s disastrous spell as head coach. Argyle have also appointed Tom Randle as head of recruitment to replace jimmy Dickinson, who is joining former Plymouth and Stoke manager Steven Schumacher at Bolton Wanderers.
